When considering cosmetic surgery in Miami it is best to make sure the physician is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. It would also be better if the doctor was also certified by The American Board of Surgery. Such double certification is rare, but for cosmetic surgery in Miami, it should be preferred.

Hi Sarah,
I couldn't agree more. I just wrote a message all about my surgery in Costa Rica.
I know I had a great surgeon, stayed at a wonderful retreat, was cared for and waited on for almost two weeks and I spent a lot less than having my surgery in Florida. To me it was an easy decision: stay home and go into debt to get the surgeries I wanted and then go home and try to take care of myselfe or go to CR and spend less and have people to care for during your whole recovery.
I also have US board certified surgeons. Dr. Rosenstock is a member of the ASAPS, it doesn't get better than this. Anyone can email and I will be glad to tell them about it.

We all are having different mind sets about cosmetic surgery. Some consider it as an enhancement to beauty while some don’t think so. Everyone has his or her own views. Basically Cosmetic surgery in Miami is all about getting rid of damages like scars or any birthmarks.

I agree that we all look at plastic surgery differently. For me it was the aesthetics.
I am 48 and saw the beginning of deep lines from the nose down to the chin, the jaw line also had some sags. I felt this was making me look older than I am. I think it was the best thing I could have done for myself. My facelift not only made me look better but I felt better. When I went back to work my coworkers kept saying you look so healthy, you're vacation made a big difference, wow what did you do you look good. None of them knew I went for plastic surgery. This was the perfect makeover. I am glad I didn't wait until my face looked even older as I think everyone would have known then. The timing was right.
I will also say having the right doctor was also important. Dr. Rosenstock is an artist. He did a great job.

I just returned from having dental and cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica with Dr. Rosenstock also. I thought that this forum would be about having surgery in Costa Rica and with the Rosenstock Center??? Isn't this part of their website? I wanted to discuss my experience and ask others about taking care of their new faceial surgery now that they are back home.
Did anyone have surgery at the Rosenstock Center? Would love to talk to you.

I agree. When considering cosmetic surgery, you should make sure that the surgeon you choose to do the procedure on you is recognized in his field and qualified to do it.

Thought I would check in again and see if others who have been to Costa Rica and the Rosenstock Center would like to share their experiences with me. I had a wonderful trip and am so happy I decided to go overseas for my surgery. I saved money which was a major reason for going but also met the best surgeons. I had Dr. Rashi Rosenstock and he was excellent. So knowledgable and certainly skilled.
I was a nervous wreck but I felt much better afer meeting with Dr. Rashi. He made me feel confident in my decision. I am so pleased with what he could do for me. I look years younger but not pulled back.
Anyone want to share their experiences?

A facelift is a surgical method that removes excess facial skin to make the face appear younger. A consultation with a facial plastic surgeon can help you determine if you are an appropriate candidate for a facelift. You must be in good general health to undergo a facelift. wink.gif

Hi Sarah,
I just returned from my second trip to CR to have surgery with the doctors at the Rosenstock clinic. Dr. Rashi did my breast lift with implants 5 years ago. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. My whole experience was perfect. The docors, the clinic, and the retreat I stayed at all made me feel so special. For this trip I went for a facelift, time marches on, LOL. I had Dr. Cohen this time and he has such a great personality, just puts you right as ease. I am so happy with the results I am seeing so far. It has been 4 weeks so I guess I am close to seeing the final results.
Like you I look refreshed, just got rid of some lines and look years better. I kept telling myself I was not nervous because I had surgery before with these doctors but heck this was my face!!! Can't hide results on this smile.gif) But going to the retreat again I saw more patients with facelifts and remember that these are excellent surgeons to stop worrying.
I was also worried about the scarring but the incisions are really in hidden places and I can already see that they are going to fade nicely.
Sarah did you do any sightseeing also? Costa Rica is really so beautiful which also helps make recovery easier.
Dorothy
